Scholarships

The Notre Dame Club of Fort Worth recently established an endowed scholarship fund. The funds are managed along with the general Notre Dame Endowment Fund by the professional fund managers at the University of Notre Dame.

The Notre Dame Club of Fort Worth Scholarship Fund was established to solely benefit current Notre Dame students from the Fort Worth area. Since this fund was established as an endowed fund, no funds will be disbursed until the fund reaches the $10,000 requirement. Once the requirement has been met the Club will establish a committee which will be responsible for working with the Office of Financial Aid to determine which student(s) will receive the award.

Ways You May Contribute

1. Earmark your ND Annual Gift donation for the "Notre Dame Club of Fort Worth Scholarship Fund". This is the easiest way to contribute if are already making an Annual Gift to the University. This is tax dedectible and credited toward the requirement for the Alumni Ticket Lottery. If have already made your 2007 Annual Gift you may retroactively earmark the funds for the Notre Dame of Fort Worth Scholarship by contacting the Development Office at develop.1@nd.edu or 574-631-7164.

2. Send a payment directly to the ND Development Office. Individual contributions made to an endowed Club account are tax deductible and credited toward the requirement for the Alumni Football Ticket Lottery. The donor must indicate the Notre Dame Club of Fort Worth Endowed Scholarship Fund as a memo on the check to ensure that the contribution is appropriately credited. Make checks payable to the University of Notre Dame and mail to the Development Office, 1100 Grace Hall, Notre Dame, Indiana 46556.

3. Send the donation to the Notre Dame Club of Fort Worth and we will forward the donation to the Development Office. Send the check to Notre Dame Club of Fort worth C/O Dan Villegas at PO BOX 11845, Fort Worth, TX 76110. Be sure to specify on the check that the donation is for the Notre Dame of Fort Worth Scholarship Fund.

Please check with your company to see if it provides a matching gift. These matching funds may also be earmarked for the Notre Dame Club of Fort Worth Scholarship Fund.

For those of you who submit restricted gifts such as Sorin Society or Founders' Circle your company match may be earmarked for the Notre Dame Club of Fort Worth Scholarship.
